Our Process

Beutler Ink and Tyson Foods worked together to improve the articles Tyson Foods and Impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the meat industry in the United States. Beutler Ink helped bring both pages up-to-date and addressed negative information relating to the impact of COVID-19 in Tyson Foods facilities.

Beutler Ink guided Tyson Foods through the edit request process for both articles to improve sourcing, neutrality and encyclopedic tone, and reduce redundancy. Nearly every edit request was implemented, in large part due to the positive relationship Beutler Ink nurtured between Tyson Foods and volunteer editors; everyone involved was invested in improving the quality of the pages and willing to address potentially controversial information with care and attention. The collaboration resulted in a new look and feel for both articles, each improved and brought to a higher standard.
